It's Jersey Shore Bitch!
It is no surprise that I chose to watch the Jersey Shore, it is a weekly thing for me.Except this time i tries to watch it with this blog in mind so I looked out for some things more than normal. I found that really the drama is what keeps Jersey Shore going. Ronnie and Sam are a terrible couple on the show and ninety percent of the time they are fighting and if they are not fighting with each other they are fighting with other people of the house. Even though the people of the house claim to no longer care about the relationship or want anything to do with it they still get reeled into the drama, fighting, screaming, and crying. This episode was the last episode and the gang wanted to go out with a bang (some meant this literally haha). They had a party with friends from home, went out to eat together and then went to the usual club Karma. All of this did not happen though without alcohol, sex, and drama. Deena the newest cast of the show got into a fight with Vinnie because she would not let him hookup with her friend from home which then caused Vinnie to call her a dreaded name, Angelina ( a previous house member who everyone hated). However the next night Deena and Vin were fine and she cooked him up some grilled cheeses. As the episode continued Roger finally asked JWow out which her best friend Snooks highly agreed with and was happy for JWow. Obviously it wouldnt be a real episode of J.shore without some Ron and Sam drama. Ron found out in a previous episode that Sam was talking to another guy Arvin (who names their kid that these days?) and was upset even though she talked to him when they weren't dating. Ron claims his heart is broken and with some tears shed and being a single man he leaves the last episode without Sam. Overall everyone will miss the Jersey Shore and cannot wait to come back. As a viewer we get to see the ins and outs of all the drama. Also, we get see what the cast says to each other and behind each other backs. We are always up to date on what is being said or done when other cast members of the J.Shore are not. Every cast members plays into what the viewer loves. We have the situation who causes pranks and loves to pick up women, Vinnie who is really a sweetheart but like to pick up women as well, Pauly D who everyone loves and is just funny, Snooki who is a hot mess and is not afraid to say or do what she wants, Jwow who always have her girls back but is a relationship girl, Deena who is a Snooki twin, and Ron and Sam who add the dramatic relationship to the mix. As a viewer we feel like we get to really know these characters. If something happens we find ourselves taking sides and saying who is wrong and why. I guess really the show wants us to feel as if we the viewer are really part of the cast and have an emotional attachment to the people of the show which I know a lot of people do.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I agree completely. I feel that after watching some episodes I find myself taking sides and coming up with my own reasons why the other person in the house is wrong. I will miss the show and can't wait for it to come back on.
ReplyDeleteI have never watched that show. Yet I do have to say I watched some day time tv shows with my Mom when she wasn't working. So I understand that these kind of shows have to have drama and people can't watch these shows without it.
ReplyDeleteI watched this show once and I will never watch it again. This show doesn;t interest me at all. I guess I hate the whole "drama" situation because I think people only act like this because they are actually on television.
